For Immediate Release:

Editor’s Note: Statement attributable to Scott Marciszewski, the PBA of NYS’s university police lieutenants director.
“The PBA of NYS congratulates Chief Giblin on this retirement and we thank him for his service.
The PBA continues to urge SUNY administration to seek qualified candidates from within the ranks of SUNY police departments as it fills leadership positions. In recent months, SUNY Cortland and SUNY Oneonta filled such positions from within. We hope this pattern continues.”
