UAlbany Police Department, state PBA at odds over reporting of crimes on campus

A rift between UAlbany's University Police Department and the state's Police Benevolent Association is still ongoing. In March, the PBA filed a complaint with the Department of Education over the manner and timeliness of the department's action in reporting on campus crimes.

A six-hour delay, an eight-hour delay, and a three-and-a-half-day delay - these are the timeliness issues the PBA cites in a letter to the Department of Education regarding UPD reports.
