Media outlets reporting on the PBA of NYS and towns lobbying to address Forest Ranger shortages
Monday, November 27, 2017
North Country Public Radio and the Albany Times Union newspaper both reported on the PBA of NYS' and several towns' efforts to lobby the state on the importance of increasing the Forest Ranger ranks to better enable the force to respond to rescues and deliver services to those accessing New York's wilderness areas.
The PBA is pleased that both local officials and members of the media recognize the importance of this PBA initiative and how having more Forest Rangers will improve safety and better protect this state's vast wilderness areas.
