Fredonia, Salamanca, Alfred and Brockport Information Session Recap

Friday, July 08, 2011

Four stops and during each session ALES members are letting the PBA of New York State know that they want a say in setting course for the future of their union.

Thus far, what has been voiced, at near unanimous levels, is that following the election, the PBA of New York State remain focused on securing a fair and reasonable contract for ALES members.

Members also are deeply concerned about transparency and accountability.  ALES members irrespective of agency expect their union leadership to keep two-way lines of communication open.

Brockport is a long way from Fredonia, especially when you go by way Allegany State Park and Alfred College.  But the warm reception and thoughtful questions were appreciated.

Thanks for standing with us today and in the future.
